Thomas Edison is one of the most famous inventors in history. His inventions have revolutionized the world and have made our lives easier. He was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. From early childhood he showed a natural aptitude for engineering, mechanics, and electronics. Although he did not receive any formal education beyond elementary school, he was able to teach himself quite a bit while working in his father's machine shop. When Edison began inventing, he was driven by his mission to make life better and easier for everyone. He successfully developed many famous inventions such as the light bulb, the phonograph, and the motion picture camera. Each invention improved life for people around the world.
